Meet the artist
Art is how she sees the world.
Art has always been part of Pica’s life. She explored sculpture in college, painted murals and the walls of her own home, and began seriously pursuing watercolor in her fifties.
“I love watching paint dry.”
For Pica, watercolor holds a particular kind of wonder: the way water carries pigment across paper, leaving textures and patterns she couldn’t have planned.
She believes everyone has the capacity to create. Her own approach is guided by curiosity, freedom, and a simple wish: to paint something that makes someone happy.
Another way to help
Support Pica.
If Pica’s work has brought you a little happiness, you can help her keep creating. An optional contribution supports her art and the next chapter of her life.
There’s no need to purchase a painting to be part of her story. Sharing her work with someone you love is a wonderful way to help, too.
We’re preparing a secure way to contribute. No payments are being collected yet.
Something to treasure
One original. Endless feeling.
An original is the painting itself: the paper, the flowing pigment, and the details made by Pica’s hand. Available originals will be offered individually when the shop launches.
